Retail & E-Commerce Store Associate

Key Responsibilities

Retail Store Operations

  • Greet customers, assist with product selection, and provide expert guidance on party planning and decoration solutions.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store environment.
  • Process point-of-sale transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns with professionalism and empathy.
  • Assist with in-store events, seasonal displays, and promotional activities.

Inventory & Merchandising

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure product availability and avoid stockouts or overstock.
  • Receive, unpack, and organize new stock; conduct regular inventory audits.
  • Assist with merchandising, product tagging, labeling, and pricing updates.
  • Report inventory discrepancies and support stock replenishment planning.

Party Decoration & Creative Support

  • Design and prepare creative party decorations, displays, and themed setups.
  • Provide decoration ideas and solutions tailored to customer needs and event themes.

E-Commerce Management (Amazon & Noon)

  • Manage product listings on Amazon.ae and Noon Seller Lab platforms, ensuring accurate descriptions, pricing, and high-quality imagery. 
  • Upload new products, update existing listings, and optimize content for visibility and conversions. 
  • Process online orders, coordinate packaging and fulfillment, and ensure timely dispatch and tracking.
  • Monitor marketplace dashboards, respond to customer reviews and messages, and resolve order issues.
  • Assist with promotions, marketplace campaigns, and performance tracking.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Retail Experience: Minimum 1–2 years working in a retail environment, preferably in party supplies, gifts, or related merchandise.
  • E-Commerce Experience: Hands-on experience managing online store operations on Amazon and/or Noon, including listings, order processing, and basic platform tools. 
  • Strong understanding of inventory control, merchandising standards, and stock management procedures.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills with the ability to handle complaints and difficult situations professionally.
  • Creative mindset with experience in party decoration, visual merchandising, or event design.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and comfortable using seller dashboards and e-commerce tools. 
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize work effectively, and operate independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable with a proactive attitude.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and peak retail hours.

Preferred (but Not Required)

  • Familiarity with digital marketing fundamentals for online marketplaces.
  • Experience with SEO or keyword optimization for product listings. 
  • Basic graphic skills for product images or promotional content.
